BuncoTime is the link a host shares so her group can claim the sixteen spots at her Bunco night. Using the site means you’re fine with what’s below.
What a spot is
- A night has a fixed number of spots — sixteen unless the host says otherwise. When they're gone, they're gone.
- Filling in the form holds a spot for about ten minutes. That is a hold, not a seat: only a completed payment makes it yours.
- If the hold runs out, the spot goes back into the pool and somebody else can take it.
- When a night is full you can join On Deck for free. If a spot opens, the next person On Deck is emailed a link and has a limited time to claim it before it passes along.
Money
- The entry fee — $5 unless your host set a different amount — is collected through Stripe when you claim your spot. It goes toward the night itself.
- Spots are not refunded automatically, including when you cancel or when the host removes you. The money stays with the host.
- If you need a refund, ask your host, or write to us and we'll help sort it out.
- We don't store card details. Stripe handles the payment and its terms apply to that part.
If plans change
Your confirmation page has a “Can’t make it?” link. Using it frees your spot straight away, so the next person On Deck can have it — which is the kind thing to do, and much better than not showing up. The host can also remove someone from her own night.
The night itself
The host runs the night: the address, the time, the snacks, the rules of the table. BuncoTime is the tool that fills the seats. We’re not the organiser, we don’t attend, and we can’t promise a night will happen as described. If a host cancels, talk to her about the entry fee.
Being decent
- Sign up as yourself, with details you can be reached at.
- Don't claim spots you don't intend to use, and don't try to get around the seat limit.
- Don't share someone else's address, phone number or private link.
- Hosts: the details your players give you are for running the night, not for a mailing list.
The legal minimum
BuncoTime is provided as-is, without warranties. We do our best to keep the seat count honest and the payments correct — and there is a real audit trail behind both — but we’re not liable for a night that doesn’t go to plan. Nothing here takes away rights you have under the law where you live.
